Stephanie Peterson was born in Elyria, Ohio. At the age of four, her mom put her in her first beauty pageant, which she won. Her family moved to Texas when she was eight, where she continued to compete. Stephanie went on to compete and win hundreds of beauty pageants, including several state titles and one national title, America’s Miss Hemisphere.
Soon after that, Stephanie began print modeling for Intermedia Agency, a division of Paige Parkes. Again, she was quite successful, modeling clothing for designers such as Benetton and Guess.
As a teenager, Stephanie concentrated on school. During her first semester at college, she enrolled as a theater major and landed two roles during the first week of classes! Her time in college would prove to be the most challenging and rewarding, as this is where she met the Lord of her life, Jesus Christ, and the love of her life, Brad, who is now her husband. Stephanie would go on to balance a full time job tutoring, acting in over a dozen plays, adding a second major in mathematics, and leading at her church.
As college was winding down for Brad and Stephanie, Brad was called to seminary, which is basically a graduate school for those who want to work in the church or mission field. As far as they knew, the best Bible-teachers went to Dallas Theological Seminary, so they packed up and moved to Dallas. Stephanie found a job teaching Algebra and Geometry to 9th graders, which she did for a year and a half. She then was hired at a terrific company as a petroleum analyst.
It seems like the story should end there, huh? But no, God has different plans for Stephanie. For some reason, he does not let her give up on acting. Recently, she began acting in the Dallas market. Soon after, she was signed by Linda McAlister Talent. The road ahead is unpaved, so check out the News section (and your TV) for updated information.
